My first visit to this magnificent cavern was as a boy of 12, during a summer vacation with the family. But I've revisited it on a couple of other occasions as well, and was suitably impressed each and every time.
One of the highlights of a visit to Carlsbad is watching the bats leave the cave at dusk for their nightly feeding excursion...
