Tour a Vineyard and Sample a Good Bottle of Wine
Over the years, I've been lucky enough to visit San Francisco on several occasions - and, of course, a trip to "San Fran" just isn't complete without spending a day in Napa Valley. The most memorable visit, by far, was during my motorcycle tour of the Western U.S. with Kumiko in August, 2000. The reason that one stands out above the rest is because it included something I could really enjoy. I'm not a wine drinker, and my previous trips were simply to visit various wineries and watch girlfriend-of-the-month sample the different wines on offer. But the visit with Kumiko included something altogether different - a hot-air balloon ride through the valley.
